Sky Vision's entire catalogue now on TRX

Sky Vision, the production and distribution arm of Sky, has made its entire catalogue of programming available for licence on TRX, the online licensing platform for TV rights, following an integration between Sky Vision’s rights management system and TRX.

Sky Vision has been working with TRX over the last six months to embed breakthrough technology that enables selected buyers to access real-time rights availability reports, and to license the entire Sky Vision catalogue completely online. 

Brand new and back catalogue Sky Vision content, such as Riviera, Escape to the Chateau and Fortitude will be available to buyer-users of the online licensing platform, which aims to generate more sales for distributors with less hassle. Sky Vision will focus primarily on Asia before expanding to other regions.

Since its launch in October 2017, more than 700 buyers and more 110 worldwide distributors now use TRX, including BBC Studios, Lionsgate and All3Media International.  TRX boasts more than 62,000 hours of available content and is adding 10 new buyers every week. TRX has secured funding in excess of $15m from investors including Sky Ventures, the Channel 4 Growth Fund and Edge Investments. TRX recently shifted to a subscription model, giving distributors access to a suite of services based on the level of service and features required.
