John Ogilby created the first roadmaps of Britain, measuring, describing and publishing them in the form of strip-map itineraries in 1675. In this fascinating series, Terry Jones investigates how and why he did it. He sets out to see whether it is still possible to find and travel along Ogilby's roads in Wales. However, it quickly becomes clear there is more to Ogilby's maps than meets the eye.
